"Roon Five"

That’s a helluva 12 pack! All good stuff there.

The hoodoo man blues is a great album.

Gonna have to chase it down on Roon sometime this weekend and give it a “spin”…

I bought a digital version but I dont remember where from.

Really good. I’ve only listened to the first half-dozen songs or so, but I’ll give it two thumbs up.

Other than Hank Sr. and maybe four or five others I have no tolerance for the genre.
A personal problem I suppose.

An affliction we share.

trying to color within the lines. Back to FIVE.

Appreciate the effort…

Put one of my instruments up for sale on the mandolin forum, and a local guy came over to buy it yesterday. (I love it when I don’t have to ship something!)

We talked Grateful Dead stuff the whole time. Talked about Allmans at Fillmore East, too, and that the Dead played the venue around the same time as that show. That’s Dick’s Picks Volume Four.

Serendipitously, my local shop had it so really there was nothing I could do but buy it.

I listened to this the other night via Roon/Qobuz.

Good stuff, indeed.

Cheers.

picked up Etta James “At Last” on vinyl, and it included a CD with “At Last” as well as “Second Time Around” and a bunch of bonus tracks. Already had At Last on CD, but added the others to Roon.

That Meters album is awesome, by the way.

Oh, at the record shop, they had a couple copies of the new Van Morrison CD, and I asked how it was selling, knowing that anti-vax Van’s gone a bit off the deep end lately… The guy at the shop said, “nope. Not a one. He’s nuts and his music is worse than ever.”

And so it goes.

Latest additions:

Other then the new Staples/Helm album, nothing new here, just releases I finally purchased to add to my on-prem library.
