modern day classical pianists lean too much towards musculian(prime example: Martha Argerich), especially Chopin’s pieces. There is a lot of flare but It gets tiring after a while.

Arrau, in my very humble opinion, strikes a very good balance between feminine/musc, or yin/yang to my noob ears.
