Roon Radio

Thread revival! I was playing some tunes on Roon from my HS years and the Roon Radio is taking me on trip down memory lane! Yikes! I’m loving it! All need is a mullet and a Iroc-Z!

Ok, i’ll play.

I’m finding Roon radio is AWESOME when I restrict selections to my library.

Some might say that it’s at cross purposes, because you’re trying to discover new stuff. But I think about how much stuff I’ve added to my library that I’ve never listened to…

Might be an artist I like… add this or that album in Qobuz/Tidal

Might be something mentioned here in the “what are you playing?” thread… Add this or that album

Might be a CD I picked up from the used bin that I’ve ripped but haven’t played yet…

So many things I haven’t heard, and the occasional “restrict to my library” keeps roon radio in a more palatable universe.

Anyway, carry on.

Yes you can tune Roon (pardon the pun) to your liking and if you have Qobuz or Tidal linked to it will unearth some buried audio treasures for sure! I’m loving it also!

Naw…just a quick Interwebs search for images.

I absolutely wore out a Bob Seger Live Bullet cassette listening to a pair of these sitting in a couple of wooden boxes tossed in the back of a Ford Fiesta limping through a 3,000+ mile round trip odyssey from Chicago Land to Washington State, Oregon, California and back.

Not sure how me and my cousin survived…

I took my driver’s road test in my mom’s 1980 Ford Fiesta 4-speed manual. Would have been January 1981.

Loved that sardine can.
