Starting a new topic as the last thread on the subject looks like it was in 2015
My longtime service tech, unexpectedly, and with no explanation closed his business and phones are disconnected. Not certain if it was health related (hoping not) or he just decided to call it a day
The long and short is that I am seeking a new service tech and looking to the forum for suggestions on techs you use currently or have successfully worked with in the past for repairs and/or mods
I am fine with shipping my gear anywhere in the lower 48, if it means finding an experienced, passionate tech, who “gets it” Finding a qualified tech may hold more importance for me than some others, I have a tendency to lean into lesser known, boutique brands from the far corners. My Concert Fidelity linestage and RADA phono stage being good examples. Communication issues and international shipping concerns causing, less than ideal circumstances to getting service performed
No such concerns with my more mainstream components. Accuphase (not that any of my Accuphase products has ever required service of any kind) MSB, etc. which all have factory service readily available, even my Antipodes (server) has a US based service center
So, who you got or recommend? Tube experience is most helpful!
