This looks very interesting and costs like 1/20 of s Stealth V17 SE. I can tell my daughter she’s able to finish her MS degree since I don’t need to use her tuition on another best-in-the-world cable again.
I reached out to Jeff the other week to check on the RCAs. He told me that they were still being finalized. I think his plan was to have both versions ready for general release at the same time. The speaker cables are the best I’ve heard.
I have the Fidelium speaker cables and they transformed my system! I am very tempted but one of my mono-blocks is almost 6 metres from the preamp!!
thanks for sharing - very interested in his new XLRs. Fidelium speaker cables - agreed, they are fantastic. He has a unique approach to bi-wiring, which works great with my FR30s.
If you or anyone else on this forum gets a chance to try out the new Fidelium XLR or RCAs, please post your impressions!
I just bought a set of Fidelium speaker cables. They are fantastic right out of the box. They are the best cables I have personally heard in my system. Tremendous on vocals, deep controlled bass, pianos sound correct, great imaging, and dead quiet. They replaced AudioQuest William Tell Zeros. What a revelation. I hate to go out a limb, but these are probably my end cables.
Thanks for sharing and great you like them too.
Happy listening!
I have not found a speaker cable that could better my Fidelium yet. I am using two pairs of Fidelium SC on FR30 (so I do not need to use jumper). They replaced a pair of AQ Robin Hood bi-wire on my old speakers a few years ago.
Congratulations! I auditioned the Fidelium speaker cables and had to have them too.
I have a custom pair of 60 cm speaker cables that I like; but, as is the case with a previous poster I have long XLR runs to the amps. My budget can’t swing such long cables.
If you have biwire speakers, like my FR30s! Jeffrey at Silversmith does a very unique bi-wire setup that is fantastic. 1 cable connects the upper/lower posts of the speaker, and then 1 cable from the Amp connects to the “middle” of the speaker cable. A T connection… No other cable can do this that I have ever seen. Sounds amazing, and a truly great bargain done this way! I also have his XLRs - smoked my UPOCC XLRs, just like these speaker cables did to my prior Series 1.
Thanks - I’m aware of his bi-wire solution but my Amphion Krypton’s 3s are not bi-wired. I need a 6m XLR to my left monoblock, so would need a custom order. Thinking about it!
If you own a pair of Fidelium speakers cables then the interconnects are mandatory additions to complete the job that was started by the speaker cables. I added a 1m XLR from DAC to preamp and a 3m XLR from preamp to amplifier. What a revelation, I initially intended to do the preamp to amp run and decided to do the whole source chain. I have no regrets. The sound is sublime, it is at least 2 to four times better than what you’re hearing with the speaker cables alone. They are truly made for each other, for me the interconnects were fully open by the 3rd week, well within the 30 days trial period to make a decision. Just like the Fidelium speaker cables once you try the interconnects they are not leaving. So this is a full loom recommendation not a mix and match.
You are not making it easy for me to resist!!!
I want!
I may have to contact Jeff again. If his XLR is better than UPOCC XLR I’m using now, that will be a saving of more than 20 rounds of playing Pepple Beach Links for me🏌🏽♂️Because that would be my other alternative of an IC.
I can only agree with @nazo2771, these interconnects are truly something very spectacular. I replaced Cardas Clear Beyond and the difference is not subtle. As awesome as the speakers cables are (and they are truly awesome), the interconnects are on yet another level. No idea how Jeff does it…
I’m going ahead with the XLRs. Stay tuned
I cannot wait for another review either, so I just put in the order for the XLRs too. Ultimately, how good it sounds in my system can only be judged by me.
The Iconoclast UPOCC I am using now sounds incredible for the asking price already. If Fidelium XLR is better that would be quite amazing, and I will be done with IC too (other than getting another pair between MK2 and MU2 in future. ).
This post pertains only to owners of the Fidelium speakers cables who have ordered the new Fidelium interconnects. I am 5 weeks into using this new combo and way past the 30 days return of purchase option. I am still very happy with my purchase and on continued listening I realized that for over 4 1/2 weeks I have been doing a 24/7 burning in of the interconnects with regular music files. For the last two days with at least an 8 hour break, I have been running the XLO Burn-In CD continuously on replay with the amplifier off, the DSD DAC output set at 100 and pre-amp on so both XLR interconnects get the full burn-in treatment. The results were not subtle, it just confirmed why the Fidelium cables are remarkable value for the money. The burnin-in CD treatment was the icing on the cake.
