Strictly Jazz Sounds (Part 2)

I hate you. I just bought that at AXPONA for $30. Well, maybe the shipping would have been $25.

Join the club I paid MSRP plus shipping and tax. Happy with it overall. As such life moves on.

A perfect album for late night listening

Agreed. The vinyl press is of bootleg quality at best. I can’t find anywhere online where this was pressed. The vinyl doesn’t indicate in the dead wax, nor does the sleeve.

Most unfortunate. While not totally unexpected I have not received a response from Jay or Modern Harmonic/Sundazed. I can live with the noise as it is typical of Sun Ra’s 1960’s and 1970’s Saturn releases. The Saturn Records production values were never considered to “all that”.

Listening to Dimeola, McLaughlin, De Lucia, Live Friday Night in San Francisco a 45er on Impex vinyl. Fortunately an especially fine pressing.
When I purchased the original release I’d play is constantly. Been away from it for many years, but returning to it on Impex has been pure joy!

Listening to Side-A of Charlie Parker The Long Lost Bird Live Afro-CuBop Recordings! Worth seeking out, and previously released as a CD in 2015.
