Is this a CD? I don’t see this available to stream or download.

It’s available as a cd on Amazon.

Mr Butcher has been on my mind lately. He has issued a handful of LPs, five I believe, on a label from Luxembourg - Ni-Vu-Ni-Connu, that are rather difficult to obtain here in the USA.

While I like the convenience of Amazon, when I can, I try to buy music from a Discogs dealer who is very likely also a retail music store.

Discogs is our friend:

BTW I could not locate it on Qobuz. It is a compilation CD.

After leaving Ornette Coleman, Don Cherry moves to BlueNote and the above is the result. Don carries on the avant-garde tradition with Complete Communion. The last two nights I was fortunate to hear Ken Vandermark cover the music of Fred Anderson and Don Cherry, with a nod to Elephantasy. Ken assembled a quartet consisting of himself, Tomeka Reid, Hamid Drake, and an up and coming trumpet player that is new to me Lemuel Marc. The latter just turning 21 and currently studying at The New England Conservatory. The young man shows great promise. A treat to hear him for the first time at the Green Mill Lounge.

Have you purchased the downloads, or did you spring for the vinyl?

My intent was to get the vinyl, which at the moment has alluded me. My server is full up so downloads aren’t a great option at the moment. This may be the motivating factor to clean it up and remove some of the musty stuff.
