Strictly Jazz Sounds (Part 2)

Was that recorded at Boomer’s in Manhattan?

The sleeve indicates it is a March 29, 1975 session recorded at Amsterdam’s Bimhus.
Tell me more about any Clifford Jordan recordings from Boomers in Manhattan.

Poking around on Discogs I found this, but havenot heard it. A strong line-up with Cedar Walton, Sam Jones, and Louis Hayes.

Not familiar with the above session, but the IC/Steeplechase Highest Mountain is pretty good.

I have the 2 CDs recorded on Test of Time Records which is a division of East/West Music. If you want. I can record the music, but I know you prefer original sources!

I want to let those who live in Chicago know that there is a free concert at the Constellation tonight from 4 PM to 11 PM. At 8:30 PM, there will be special tribune to pianist Misha Mengelberg!

Constellation August 24, Dog Days Festival, Micheal Moore assemblage(s).

How do I stream Clifford Jordan Live at Ethyl’s on Mapleshade? I could dig out my CD, but it would require a team of anthropologists.

Start digging. It is not on Qobuz!

Ernest Dawkins Trio with Junius Paul and Avreaayl Ra closed out the night.
The Micheal Moore ensemble was beyond words ending their set with a tribute to Dudu Puckwana composed by Misha Mengleberg.
@jazzbirder sorry or paths didnot cross last night. Possibly tonight at the Hungry Brain.

Thank-you for the offer. I’ll seek out the CDs. Should I not be able to locate them I’ll take you up on your most generous offer.
