Subwoofers - need to get your opinion

@mr-ryan-eickmeyer if you have the room, I highly recommend a pair of SVS 16 Ultra’s.

Ten inch at the max I’d say. The sub vendors SHOULD be able to properly size the sub(s) such that they work in the most linear SPL range.

I would consider one ten inch model, or like driver size. Add another later.

Your speakers are about right in the room for the same reason. Too small or big a speaker is a room can’t be tricked into working at their best.

Thanks @rower30 and @scotte1, just picked up a REL T7i. Have it setup now…wow, it’s got some balls for a little guy! More break in time now and setting up!
Cheers

Don’t be shy, get a second one. It’s so worth it.

Rythmik E15HP2. They rock! I’m running a pair with my PBN M2!5 speakers.

Only necessary if your speakers aren’t true full range. Mine are good for 20Hz at -2dB and quality of bass and integration with mid frequencies is so important to me.

Avoiding that slippery slope.

in isolation and running in a new sub the winner is the Rel S812 in the end it just was the best sub in a musical way with my Sonus Faber Guarneri Memento loudspeakers cleaner bass and just integrated really well… now saving for another …
