I imagine it’s a demand issue. How many of us are really out there in the marketplace for a device that goes from Ethernet in to I2S out?
Also, buried somewhere here on the Forum is a mention of PS Audio manufactured 'endpoint" that may have the ethernet to I2S.

Do you know ballpark the price point? Something like $500-$1000, $1000-$1500, etc… nothing to specific. I am just trying to forecast my piggy bank’s diet.
James is this the same product as Bridge 3? The external box with Ethernet in I2S out with Octave software for Media Management?
Hmm, tough to say. Still early so this figure is just simply a ballpark, but my guess will be more than $1,000 but less than $3,000. Don’t quote me though.

In this day and age, I’m sorry but I just don’t buy it. The ~$2000 Gaia has coax and Toslink inputs, among others. How many high end audiophiles, the only ones who’d likely even know a company like Denafrips even exists, would likely not have Ethernet as an available option for a device like this - or, how many would actually be adopting either of those other two inputs as the preferred way to use the Gaia? I would go so far as to guess that in the parts of the world where a device like this would likely be used, hard wired Ethernet is probably available in most of the homes that would use one. Heck, Squeezebox was selling Ethernet in audio devices back in the early 2000s!
The Mano, per your additional post, does not do beyond DSD64 at the I2S out.
I think this is more an example of the audio world again being behind the curve. Audio has often lagged in adopting paradigms outside of its industry that are otherwise commonplace. Just my 2 cents.
Will it do DSD256 or better out of I2S?

I was actually surprised that Sonore didn’t have I2S as an offering, especially in the opticalRendu and the Signature Rendu SE. It seems like a missed opportunity.
They did include it on the signature Rendu. I assume they didn’t sell enough and they stopped. Only offer USB now. They now offer this:

You start to collect widgets but its not a huge deal for me and the sonore system for DLNA or Roon just works flawlessly.

Hi guys, I installed Sunligth 2 days ago, but USB stopped working on my DSJr. I thought it was problems with the USB cable but it is not. I changed the MacMini audio source (Roon core and endpoint), tried RPi4 through Ropiee and was not happy. It hasn’t worked so far. I already installed Sunligth again and the problem remains. I would be flattered with some help. I’m using via bridge II, the sound really pleased me since the first audition.
will I have to install Window again, and then reinstall Sunligth?
Do you have the input set to auto? If you do, then change it manually to USB.
Or, another alternative is to change the volume setting.
The new firmware clobbered the auto input in the DSJr.
where do I do this standard input option? Roon or DSJr?
