System Photos!

Indeed we have, Joma. On the left of the picture you’ll see a Behringer SRC2496 - I was playing with it to prove that a TOTO IV CD that I have had the pre-emphasis subcode set in its header.

Yes it is great (in a visual way) for working out what is going on in a digital stream, and converting formats, only 100 quid too, I am considering buying a couple more in case they stop making them, I think they’re been in production for 10 years or more

What day and time was the “house of open doors“ you said? I am in the UK next week. That set must sound awesome.

Is that a Thorens TD 125?

Forget the sheetrock and just stuff insulation between the joists. Staple speaker grill cloth over the joists if you want a more finished look.

While transitioning to retirement, we rented a house for a time and the system wound up in a minimally-finished out basement with an unfinished, but insulated ceiling and walls. It turned out to be one of the best (if not THE best) listening rooms I’ve ever had.

I noticed that when touring Gus Skinas’ new mixing studio at PSA, the ceiling at the time was simply stuffed with “blue jeans” insulation (insulation made from recycled blue jeans). https://bluejeansgogreen.org/receive-insulation/

“Noice”!

Enjoy.

Rudolf, I will send you a PM - you’d be welcome to pop round. Yes it’s a TD125 (with their own TP16 arm and a Shure V15 III). There’s also a Garrard 301 with an SME 3012 and a Goldring 1012GX (surprisingly good for a relatively cheap MM) - there’s also a 401 with 3009 improved and an ADC 10E Mk 4 (sounds very bassy compared to the others). The phono stage is a PSA GCPH. Dan.

Here is my little system:
Torus Power TOT Max + Isotek Aquarius power conditioner > C.E.C. TL51XR cd transport, Aurender N100H streamer > Siltech Classic Anniversary USB cable > Matrix X-SPDIF 2 > Wireworld Micro-Platinum Eclipse 8 AES/EBU cable > Lyngdorf TDAI 3400 amp > Siltech Classic Anniversary 330L cables > Diapason Adamantes III 25th speakers (+ speaker stands designed and made by me)
…actually, I’ve just realized, that there is no PS Audio product there right now (even if I had some in this system before), hope it is OK.

Beautiful system. I love your color theme and everything is so very neat and clean. Do you have a sub? PSA audio product is not a requirement. At this forum, members just want to see and appreciate.

Adding sub is just on the way. Going to add Lyngdorf BW2 or newest BW3 sub, as these are integrated into Lyngdorf amp system for flawless and automatic integration. You just have to tell the amp which Lyngdorf sub is connected and Lyngdorf DSP (and built in Roomperfect room correction) will do the rest…

Really nice system. I’m all Siltech and I had the Classic Anniversary USB long before people were revisiting USB cables as a system enhancer. I wasn’t leading the pack I fell into it through a friend who revised an all Siltech system to the Siltech “Royal” offerings and i bought the full loom and then some.

Very nice indeed, those cabinets are a true work of craftsmanship. Only the Italians do that.

How do you play records?
Couple of things came back in the post today after a health check and minor surgery.

Yes, those cabinets are stunning. Thank god (and Italians) they sounds great too…
I have no turntable right now (but I do have records collection), because I just cannot afford to maintain decent digital system AND turntable analog system at the same time. At least not for now. But I am planning to add one in the future.

It seems anything the Italians design is timeless, no?
