Here are a couple of photos of my system.

Is that the Classé CA-D200 amp?

No, it’s actually CA-2100. I also have the Directstream DAC to which the May is replacing. The cool thing is I’m still able to run I2S from my transport to the May without any issues. Sounds sublime.

I had the CA-D200 for a while I believe it was a Darren Meyer design. Your system looks great! Enjoy!

Those look an awful lot like Maggie 1.7i’s. Are you not running subs with them?

Yes, I’m running REL T/7X.

Test frankenstein setup with Markaudio full-ranges blutacked and taped in place of Audio Physic Tempo V midranges, tweeters off circuit.
Liking the coherency brought by point-source drivers, and they couple well with the AP bass units.
Will tidy it up…

Figured I’d post a couple pics of my second system that serves both TV and music listening.

KEF R500 speakers, Decware Zen Torii II amp, ModWright LS 36.5 preamp, Arcam CD37 FMJ SACD player, Cambridge DacMagic for digital TV and Blu-Ray, JL Audio Fathom F112 sub, PS Audio P3 regenerator for audio equipment and a PS Audio Dectet for TV & video equipment.

As odd as the combination might seem, this system has musicality and engagement factor that really surpasses expectations. It isn’t as revealing as my main system but it always pulls you into the music without any thought to its limitations. I listen to this system as often as my main system.

I’d love to hear that Decware! That’s a lovely room, very inviting!

Proper bat-ears going on there

Nice - I like the cabinet with the grilled doors (if you see what I mean)

Peter McGrath demoing the new Wilson Sasha V speakers at Innovative Audio, NYC
D’Agostino monoblocks and line stage
DCS Vivaldi DAC and clock
Stromtank (amps were into the wall)
Transparent Opus cable
Excellent food and wine
Speakers produce some prodigious bass
I was not bowled over by the new midrange driver or tweeter.
If I upgrade, I’ll still go for some Alexia 2s, although I’m still not finding anything to complain about with my Sabrina Xs.

Are the big silver sausages part of the speaker cables? :hushed:

“Transparent” is right - transparent pandering to people with more money than sense. IMO obvs.

The MIT or Transparent cable characteristic (which is not my favorite), is the only one I could imagine to produce satisfying sound for me using solid state amps with Wilson speakers.
