Congrats Ron!
Congratulations. Did you have set-up assistance for your Wilson Audio Dealer. I can only imaging the enjoyment you will receive with these in place.
What has become of the Sabrina X speakers?
The guy on his knees with the tape measure, clipboard, etc is from Wilson. He was there for around six hours moving, measuring, listening, moving 1/4" at a time.
it’s a fascinating process.
The SabrinaX s were traded in. They gave me 65% of my original purchase price which I was fine with after 2 years.
He looked so much like you I just assumed you were getting a jump start. Fun times ahead rediscovering your record collection.
That looks mighty tasty, Ron. Congrats!
Do NOT let my wife see your setup! perty, an it sounds good!!!
well done! very cool, those 50th anniversary watt/puppys.
i have 1st anniversary FR30s!
I love the clean and simple look of your room and system! Nicely done!
Yes, a very tidy setup of some great gear. Its particularly great that the Wilson’s behave well relatively close to the rear wall.
The distance to the rear wall surprises me also. But he went thru the process and I heard what he was doing and agreed with his conclusion. So now it’s a conflict between my eyes and ears.
You’re a genius! I can’t even see where you patched it.
Al know AI.
The dancing bunnies is a nice touch and the outlet removal. Maybe you can get a real bunny to Chas to keep the cat off his Diablo 333.
I am a Wilson fan and love your system.
Thanks.
The Wilson guys told me not to actively listen until the speakers have been playing at low to moderate levels for at least a week. They will continue to bloom over 200 hours.
But I’m already quite aware on day 2 of where the money went on this upgrade. So far they exceed my expectations.
Umm…a week? Me thinks not… Have fun Ron!
Nice system! Is that skinny line on the floor speaker cable? It needs to be five times bigger to match Wilson.
nnnnnope.
I’ve tried them fat and I’ve tried them skinny and these skinny ones win for me.
In my case the fatter the better, and I promise my next SC will be fatter than my current one.
My cables are like my GF, thin and fast.
