It has not worked for me; I have not used it.
Are you able to identify a more generous program offered by any audio company?

Please re read my post and you will see that was never my claim. Other dealers have given me consideration for being a loyal customer but as PS Audio has not structured their deal this way, that is their prerogative, It was just a suggestion, not a debate.
No one has asserted that you claimed other companies were better, the question is whether you are aware of any better program. I have not seen anything even equivalent to PS Audioās ongoing offer. Have you? As you have dodged the question multiple times we must assume the answer is no.
Dealers are an entirely different proposition. Most dealers offer discounts on their products, as well as additional consideration for repeat customers.
And everything is up for discussion or, if you prefer, debate. Once you post an opinion in a public forum, you take the risk people will respond - some of whom may disagree with you. Forums are odd that way, people post what they think and they do not necessarily agree with you, me, or other participants. Go figure.
For everything between the turntable and the speakers, my wallet continues to vote with no regrets in favor of PS Audioās products, policies, and pricing.
Same here. Just look at my signature. Iāve never been happier with my system. I donāt read rmueller1ās posts as negative in any way. Could PS Audio be even more generous? Sure, in theory, but they do need to make a profit and that imposes limits. I think PS Audioās overall customer treatment is the best in the business.
Anyone else having a problem with the trade-in site over the last 24 hours? Here are the symptoms I have experienced:
Buying any item at retail price in black or silver works fine.
Buying any item in silver with a trade-in works fine.
Buying any item in black with a trade-in fails on any browser PC or Mac.
Buying any item in black with a trade-in on iPhone appears to work, but cart indicates silver insteadā¦
Yes and Tyera just fixed it. Sorry for the trouble.
Thanks for the quick response Paul.
The trade in program is great!
I always wondered where the traded in units go, as they donāt seem to go to the used market in the numbers I assume are processed by making customers happy with the deals. We should see them on the usual platformsā¦
Was it told previously where they are sold or if they are at least partly scrapped? I donāt see high enough numbers of used PSA gear online to believe someone sells it all in public.
I think they go to The Music Room. I may be mistaken.
Ah yes, could be. They also just have 3 Mk Iās and 2 jr.ās for sale, which is a bit low for the trade inās Iād expectā¦but maybe they have a truckload in the warehouse and sell it piece by piece. Still hard to imagine that all trade inās sell + the customer base needed to buy new PSA products.
Would really be interesting how this worksā¦but maybe Iām overestimating the trade in numbers.
That certainly was the procedure in the past. Not sure if it has changed any recently. TMR and/or PS Audio might hold some units back if the market gets saturated. The only exception I was aware of was the DMP, due to a lack of spare drive units PS Audio was keeping them. They should have a large stock by now!
