Yep Texas has ranches bigger than The Netherlands. Yet I love al those countries.
The nice thing here is: I drive an hour East, German language, food, hospitality and friendly people.
An hour south, we’re in Flanders, similar language different culture, great food, five minutes further Wallonia, even different language, half an hour further France.
An hour flying in any direction different languages cultures landscapes.
At least you’ve got a feeling you are getting somewhere and I enjoy to be able to experience it all. So nothing wrong with small countries.
Exactly, traveling in Europe is wonderful.
It is worth remembering these countries were huge before modern transportation and one was walking or traveling by horse.
