We also love Bicycles

I have missed riding on the trail as I have gotten busy this past few months. Most of the time I ride on my indoor trainer. But here are some of my bikes that I need to dust off. My wife and I are expecting our first born hopefully I get to ride as much as I can.

The BombTrack looks unstoppable! You should be able to ride straight up a wall with the gearset.

Sorry - Although Tadej reps Colnago, I’m still a huge Lance Armstrong fan. So big my wife booked Lance’s suite in Placencia, Belize when he raced there for my 50th birthday and gifted me a fully functional small scale bike. It was one of my best birthdays. The rub in the pic below - I own (02) Trek Project One bikes (Lance repped); however, I have Tadej’s 1st pro race number - Tour of CA that has been since abandoned in early 2020s.

In addition, I own the Cervelo model that the TT speed record was set on… P3C

Indoor trainer on my Trek Project One

Also - I ride in my Explorer to bike races with my son paving the way. Purple was his favorite color and he helped me through (05) Ironman races.

Several tears ago, I had the pleasure to be seated next to Lance Armstrong’s chef “Chef Duffy” Dufelleer on a business trip flight to Belgium. At first, I thought he was pulling my leg as I was reading “It’s not about the bike” on my Kindle but then he showed me, on his Blackberry, the contact info for Lance and Sheryl Crow. Long story short, we hit it up and he invited me and two of my colleagues to visit the Astana Service Course in Brakel, Belgium. We did so coincidently on Lance’s birthday (9/18). [I took some pictures from the visit.]. (Astana Service Course - rondpix). Captions to provide context provided for each. Unfortunately, Lance was not at the facility on that day. Nonetheless, it was a very memorable visit.
