We also love Bicycles

Impressive fitness room! I used to bike to work and do long rides over the weekend. But my bikes have been hanging for the past 15 (or 20?) years. What should I do with them?

I have been doing exercise daily, but I am only allowed to have a corner for my equip. :

Love your Klein. I use my Klein to ride to mail box and home, approx, .005 mi.

My favorite ride over the last 50 years, its on a training stand now. I try to spin for 5 minutes in the mornings. 6 years ago, heart issues have sidelined me.

Timeless classic.

These Kleins were way ahead of their time. I still have a 98’Attitude that I dont ride anymore, but can not get rid of.

Gary built them right!

That frame is a work of art.

Hanging for 15 years? You could make a less fortunate kid very happy.

Had this exact same bike as a kid
Used it for my paper route and getting back and forth from school.

More like 20 years really. Strangely my two kids never biked much, and I may leave them to my grandkids someday.

The Klein is a bit showy. But I may give Cannondale away one day.

The photo of that Klein deserves to have been flipped upside down for a better view that beauty. :winking_face_with_tongue:

Klein is also the brand that Jerry Seinfeld “rides” if you noticed in his apartment in the show.

@dchang05 & @RonP - since I was a sergeant in the Marine Corps I donate all my stuff to Vets for Vets Arizona including some really nice bikes. I collect experiences and savor memories not stuff. I donated my 32 Deuce Coupe show car I built (won shows) and 61 Vette show car to a college in St Louis. When I finished running that experience through my build cars phase I needed to pass the experience to some other younger generation. Our trust is set up to dissolve all assets and 50% to an Autistic school that helped my autistic son before he passed away at eight and 50% to Tunnels to Towers. Our government does not prioritize vets so we as a nation must show them huge appreciation for their sacrifice protecting us and our nation. Thank you all for your service!

@dchang05 - nice set up. Mind, body, and spirit are so important. I learn every day, I thank God every day I am breathing, and I take care of the vessel that allows me to live this beautiful life I have been granted. I live to train and train to live. These medals were blessed by my favorite Pope in my life. Pope John Paul II the day the millennium changed

@Audioholic - I remember hanging the paper bag off my monkey bars riding to my paper route - I had 65 customers and Fri evening my pockets were filled with coins. Thanks for the reminder of what a great childhood I had. This year is my last year working. I have been working since I was 10 years old. I remember closing Kentucky Fried chicken on Monday evening and cleaning up and getting home at 2AM. Since I went to Catholic grade school I never had to study in trade high school so I got to work a ton and bought my first boat at 13 and first car at 16 years old (1969 Mustang). Man those were fun years!

Yes those were the days. I had a white 1966 Ford Mustang when i turned 18, until someone collided into the side and totaled it. Went out and found an Opel GT after that.
