It was mid afternoon on a monster straightaway, it was almost hard not to. There wasn’t much traffic at all. I think in that situation you totally would have!

This is just wicked. Too bad the rear wing is so boy racer.
I might order one with the small rear wing since I would prefer something more like my R8. Also I would consider changing the rear bumper and lights

I called and they confirmed. They dont recommend it though. I think it takes a lot away from the character of the car.
I have some knowledge and facilities to develop and test aero aids!

I’m not a spoiler guy. And on the street I would never miss it’s complete absence.

My feelings are mixed regarding spoilers.
This one is legitimate and fully functional. But I would feel a bit silly when not running hard at the track.
Then again, there is nothing subtle about the car. Probably best to embrace one’s inner boy racer.

I believe I heard the combination of the rear spoiler and the one on the Frunk that stands about an 1”1/2 tall creates over 1200lbs of downforce at top speed so yes legit and functional! At well over 200mph without it may take off like an airplane.

Am not a boy racer, but did choose the coupe over the convertable in part because the coupe has a spoiler and the convertable doesn’t. The coupe also has more trunk space.

Just picked up a 2024 Riptide Blue Metallic Z51 and man I love this Vette. It is as quick as my 2019 Z06 w/ 155 less HP. Cockpit is a lot roomier than anticipated…

So - need to make sure I can transport my Project One Trek SLR7 with the new Vette.
Seasucker - Komodo bike rack. Made out of one piece of aluminum and the front wheel fits nice in the back boot. Each suction cup holds 210lbs. After mounting the ride, shook the car pretty good. Rack has been speed tested at 80mph.

It’s fine automobile! Congrats! I went with my friend to Bowling Green to pick his up from the National Corvette Museum. The level of performance from the base model is quite surprising and the quickness is amazing. I’m not sure if my ticker could handle the next level up 650hp, 670hp, and now 1064hp!!! I step on the gas and 490hp feels like a rocket to me! Enjoy the beautiful blue!

This is our 4th Vette - C1, C6, C7, and C8. A Z51, LT1. My C6 was Z51, C7 was Z06. One thing I absolutely recommend is Z51. I live in AZ so Z51 is summer tires, not all weather tires. Z51 is about performance and the +5HP is not the reason for the purchase. I got the magnetic ride and Z51 is about brakes and suspension and worth every penny. I was going to buy C8 in 2021; however, not going to pay the additional $25K dealer mark up. I waited till the market adjusted away the dealer mark up so I picked this car up for $75K. Considering I bought my 2019 Z06 for $95K and sold it for $75K in 2022, this Z51 has better performance and better value. This is my wife’s Vette. I have a new MB SL43 and she has a new MB E450 cabriolet. This becomes our daily driver. I store the SLR with a battery maintainer under cover and use the E450 when traveling.
