Itay’s old shop (now workshop) and new shop are in a cobbled street in Old Jaffa. It goes back to biblical times. It’s a joy just to go to the place.

Seeing as we’re at it, the other side:
Note, mine’s a black faced Portuguese Automatic made in 2008 so it has the original 3hz movement, model IW500109 (ref 5001). Not long after they changed to a 4hz movement, IW500703 (ref 5007) but on the front the watches look identical as far as I can see (although SCHAFFHAUSEN may be slightly smaller in the later watches).

Interesting. I like it. Can’t remember ever seeing months listed between numeral ticks like that with a hand that advances each month. Very cool, and the army green face is awesome as well, especially since the date ticker has the same color background, rather than white or some other color. Fine looking watch for sure
