We also love hi-end watches

I raced a 1965, a 66, a 67, 68 and 1969! I preferred the SWB cars, had the same engines and transmissions on all. My 69 is still known as the worlds fastest 2 liter 911s! My records from 2009 at Road Atlanta, Sebring and Daytona still stand…!

I too have records from my time in my '67 911.
But they’re awards for record mistakes, record near misses, general on-track hilarity.
And I had more fun than any 21 year old should be allowed to have.

ha ha ha. I was wilder (not wiser) when I was racing mine. I won the Rolex Vintage Endurance championship and the National Vintage Championship on my 69.

Gracias, Reverso Grande GMT. Como vivo al lado de Argentina, le pedí una correa de Casa Fagliano, quedó maravilloso.

JLC designs have personality. So many brands are making their own version of the Submariner.
JLC go their own way.

it has iconic designs, and for many years provided its movements and patents to other reputable watch houses. you can get excellent calibers with innovation at much more affordable prices.

if I ever buy a watch, it will be Omega

a little sentimental perhaps…one of my aerobatics students bought one for me but it was stolen in home break in, saddening to write about it even though the loss happened 32 years ago

I’m sorry to read what happened, the good thing is that the old Omega models are available at a good price in the market. so if you dare, you can recover at least a similar model.
