I grew up on the Wirral Peninsula, t’other side of the Mersey river from Liverpool.
The only song of the Beatles I heard was “When I’m 64”.
I hard The White album when I was around 16.
Then when the 25th anniversary of Sgt Pepper came around I bought this newly released CD remaster of it. 1992 ish I assume. Most of the songs were new to me.
So I’m a bit of a late comer to them, and many of their songs are still unheard by me.
They do seem to be quite good 
I still don’t like “When I’m 64” though…
