Some of RT’s finest work. Listen to the last cut Taking My Business Elsewhere and try not to shed a tear. Lyrics to die for.
And let’s not forget Beeswing. Holy f;($&ing sh@t!
I, too, agree. An incredibly gifted songwriter and a superbly talented guitarist…!
Wish I had this signed version. Just realized I had nothing but a rip of this timeless masterpiece by Brian Wilson. Oh the horror! I’ll go out on a long limb and state this album is more significant than many of the Beatles. No flames please we’re all entitled to an opinion.
Saw RT locally in a very small venue and was utterly blown away. Just him, his guitar, skill and wit. Amazing and timeless.
What a voice has Ms. Lang.
Any Neko Case fans out there? Her voice literally has no equal. Love it or hate it she’s like no other. Worth a serious listen in my opinion.
Being from the area The Boston Rag is extra special to me.
Another new one for me.
I found it on Roon / Tidal and added it to the end of my queue. Always something new here.
Paula Morelenbaum and the SWR Big Band “Bossarenova.” Wow, great sound and interesting arrangements. . . and that gorgeous voice.
Streaming CD1, Yale Bowl, New Haven, CT, July 31, 1971, on TIDAL. Great setlist, performance and sound quality!
Is it me or does she look like Julia Louise Dreyfus (Elaine from Seinfeld)?
…and they’re spectacular.
