I too am in your camp Dirk ref. playing a pile of jazz albums lately. I too find it difficult going to other genres (except for classical). Though some of the blues albums are good. By the way the other genres (rock etc) sound great in the car.
This CD make me appreciate (again) how well Chesky has done in terms of recording quality; I keep buying Chesky Jazz CDs and they don’t disappoint;
Jazz and vinyl, yeah! To Dirk and Sohail I agree completely. There is no going back. I get started on a stack of some great jazz vinyl and before you know it the sun is rising.
