This is a local station and my stream says 44.1 24 bit and sounds good.

Ouch. I’m not one to fuss over bit-rates too much but 32kbps is a dribble of a trickle. Amazing that is sounds as good as it does.

I’m less of a Jazz fan and more of a Poot Waddle fan!

If you guys find a stream that is not in the Roon Directory, let me know, I can add it (or fix as well).

I think that station has two streams. My DSD Is showing 44.1 24 bits

Only the one listed in the directory. Roon takes in all radio at 24 bit, it’s just padded. It’s the 32kbps that is very low but I’m sure it’s just fine for casual listening.

WWOZ - the Gospel Hour – Pretty good substitute for not being able to go to church this Easter morning. They just played an Aretha Franklin tune that saved my soul I think.

nice.

If you’re using Roon, this Twang City URL works (160kbps):

sounds pretty good but I’m fresh out of Pliny the Elder

Edit: A good friend just went grocery shopping and picked up two bottles of Pliny for me. Pliny in the house!

–It’s brewed near the Russian River where Twang City radio is located and near where I grew up–

Just found JB Radio out of Toronto.

JB Radio-2 is an alternative,non-commercial,web radio station.
Our plan is to give you a mixture with many genres of eclectic music from all over the world, between past and present, mixed together harmonically,
with no advertisements,no breaks and no “bla-bla” words between songs.

192k FLAC stream.
