Oh, you are right and I have not lifted my FR30 for a long time. I missed only by 100 lbs each. 
I wish that ps audio gave us an option for white glove service for the fr 20s. Most of us buying these speakers are probably of the age where that weight and bulk is a daunting task to move into a house
i’ll do it for you just to get a chance to listen to them in a ‘real’ setting! 
Then for sure you’d buy a pair of the FR20.

I had the chance to talk to Chris at PS audio today. He was very helpful and friendly and patiently answered all my questions. At the end of the day after seeing my room dimensions, he recommended I stick with the FR 10s and add a subwoofer. Yet another fine example of how I wasn’t coerced into an upsell just for profit He told me in my room I would gain a little bit of bass but the visual presence in my front wall with the entertainment center and couch would be overwhelming, and a that sonically it wouldn’t be a big change ( again in the constraints of my room)

seriously tho, PS Audio does service better than any other brand I know. Love to hear these stories. After I get settled with my new PMG DAC, will be looking into Aspen series… have 2 REL S510s so wonder if the FR10s might be what I need too…
PSA just started a Black Friday sale, and I saw FR5 and FR20 Certified in there, among other things.
I replaced FR10’s with FR20’s in the same room/setup. Surprisingly, the difference for me is in the mid range, with the larger driver in the 20’s. I did not find that much difference in the lower end.
What difference did you notice ?
Wow. No wonder they sound fuller at least with vocals. The room height is massive
Size is both a blessing and a curse. Virtually no parallel surfaces (all knotty pine save the massive fireplace). But I had thought that the higher frequencies would get lost less the the bass notes and that’s why I started with the FR10’s paired with a REL S812 sub. But then again, my taste for classical, jazz, and female vocal could also play a role.
I did end up purchasing a pair of FR 10s. I don’t want to say too much yet because they have only about 60 hours on them. I can tell you that an audiophile friend came over yesterday and was quite impressed.
The main point of this post is to thank PSA for including the CD and the set up booklet. Sometime ago I posted here a request for recordings that would help with set up. A few people gave suggestions, but I never found the detailed guide I was hoping for. What came in the box with the Aspens was exactly what I needed: play track X, you should hear Y, if not try Z. I’m not done with positioning yet, but with this guidance, I’m doing a lot better in my highly asymmetrical room.
