Just had a glass of that tonight. Nice.

Gin & Tonic with a squeeze of lime on a summer day.

You got it…G&T is a daily ritual in these times and temperatures.

Very specific G&T that you might find rather “stupid” delicious. Something about that Elder Flower version of the Fever Tree tonic water takes it up another notch.

Heard of but never tried The Botanist. Will be soon, just ordered a bottle.

We’ve finished off a few bottles of these recently.

The Botanist is also great in a Last Word.

Tonight is my first drink in a few weeks. Fevertree Tonic with fresh lime juice and Tanqueray No. 10.

+1 on the FeverTree. I drink a health Bev with it every day. The Gin brings back some memories, some not so good.

@AllenP RE: The Last Word. Interesting prohibition era drink. Thanks for sharing.

I’m too much of a purist (simpleton?) and prefer to taste all the botanicals in the Botanist gin (there are 22 from Islay in there). So not even lime graces my G&T.

We’ve been collecting wine for close to 20 years, so that’s always a go to. I would pick a Alex Gambal Pinot Noir (Bourgogne).

I also love Islay whiskey (Laphroig is my go to).

Growing up in Sweden, coffee is just part of life (and maybe the meaning of life!). Roasting my own since I worked at a coffee importer (first real job!).

Funny as hell to find this local brew at the store today. Like Christmas and Halloween, it seems to come earlier every year. It is traditionally an Octoberfest beer. Although some of the German brands make it year round.

Octoberfest in August. Prost!

Picked up a case of these for old time sake and am really enjoying them. The cans provide for fresher beer than the clear glass bottles ever could! Point of note, my other old favorite, Guinness Stout cane a year after Samual Smiths.

Feeling the Bern in Charlotte, Vermont earlier today. . . .

All of Samuel Smith’s have been favs of mine for a long time, NBA is good but I prefer the Taddy Porter and the Oatmeal and Imperial Stouts are great as well. Cheers!

Excellent pale ale from Big Lick Brewing in Roanoke. Somewhere in between a pale ale and IPA very tasty!

Agreed, lots of good flavors from Samual Smiths. The funny thing is I would only buy NBAs, back in the day, if the store was out of Old Brewery Pale Ale and/or Oatmeal Stout.

Love their Winter Welcomes too when they are in season.
