You could retain the details and put the head back on its body by moving the speakers further apart a half inch at a time.
How will I know when said head is returned home? Unless she starts snapping her fingers or tap dancing.
I had to try running my Inakustik loom after some time and while my system has gone through many changes elsewhere,I very very much like what I hear now. This means Inakustik excellence cat6 before and after ER,referenz usb and excellence hdmi cables. Really cheap cables compared to pretty much anything else out there. Almost a joke…
Sound is free of grain or any kind of harshness or brightness or any ill side effects. It is not the last word in transparency(because it´s not in your face) but talk about soundstage depth and width,wonderful tone,lots of emotion and excitement and great dynamics. Live recordings take me to halfway or even further back in stage and I like that. It´s more about being part of the show,observing it and feel the atmosphere around you,than trying to hear every detail in some instrument.Guess these are the opposite to Audience Front Row in a good way

My sound stage has expanded beyond far the walls of the room with the recent burn in of a new P3 and a pair of M1200s, and for someone who enjoys sitting in the front row listening to Brazilian jazz, I was wondering where I might find a “disembodied head” to bring the vocals a little farther forward?? A job for Ted I imagine,

It may come down to speaker placement, it did for me. One of my test tracks is Lou Reed’s “Vanishing Act” He should be standing directly in front of you (perhaps 2-3 feet behind the front of the speakers) singing directly at you.
Its pretty cool to have Lou Reed over from time to time, even if its just his head.
@njlinuxmike my B&W801s are known for a deep stage, but you are absolutely right, due to the room they are 18inches from the front wall, toed in and holographic as heck, but track dependent on vocalist staging. Love London Grammar’s up front vocals, but choral rendition turns our listening room into a cathedral, highly enjoyable, I’ll invite Lou over, you bet, thanks.
Once you get the XCS4400 DSD transformers mod be sure to try the Inakustik Referenz ethernet again. It really lifts a veil you did not know was there. The Inakustik cords are pretty amazing price to performance

I had been searching/waiting for some 40th Anniversary units in Silver Eucalyptus, but wasn’t seeing anything. These came up on US/Canuck Audio Mart from a guy in Toronto, and I really liked the grain. (Some of the Tamo Ash is really variable. Some I’ve seen I didn’t like at all, but these looked great.)
Took a little wrangling to get them across the border, but they still wound up being a good deal.
I’ve not heard of that. It’s a remarkable grain. Especially in that photo of what I assume is the top of a unit in the box, it almost looks like it’s shingled, like one line overlays the one next to it, instead of just being lines next to one another.

This Speakers Corner LP arrived here today and it’s so great music and sound…a really good recommendation!
yeah, was amusing. Wasn’t going to pull the trigger on them because i figured shipping would be crazy expensive, but got on FedEx to see what shipping/customs would be, and it’s a rather arduous, non-intuitive process. You go from page to page, and then you can save your work, which I did.
The next morning I get a call from the seller (before we agreed to anything) saying “Hey, FedEx is here to pick up the speakers!”
Anyway, we had a laugh and figured we better do the deal because why not.
At one point I had to provide FedEx Customs people with power of attorney to complete a Toxic-Substance declaration because the speakers are veneer and not solid wood.
Lesson learned: Avoid international shipments if you can. 
You had me a “very cute”. The rest is bonus territory.
Hopefully US Customs doesn’t send you a bill for the import tariff 3 to 6 months down the road as happen to me when buying some Classe amps from Canada.
