I have a few of the doorstops. They seem to be filled with sand. I have some lead shot left over from another project. I’m thinking I will add lead to each doorstop to increase the effectiveness and will probably spray paint them while I’m at it. Ill report back.

I think those could work well if dipped in something like Plasti Dip.

Or covered with flex seal (just like we see on tv) and let the flex seal set…

Would be quite the solution worth trying…

Flex seal might be cheaper…

I have some of these left over from a yard project. Are they audiophile?

No mistake at all…pure audiophile…

Just wait till the audio mags start reviewing these jewels…

Who’s going to trademark audiophile dumbbells for this purpose?

Some folks have considered us audiophiles to be dumbbells or idiots for years.

Well dumbells do have a purpose…some the preservation of
the art form, another the enjoyment of the art…another
the enjoyment of the gear…

And those that think we are all dumbells…
well where does that leave them?

Ah!! It comes to mind…they must be the
cuckoos in the cuckoo clock

Now that begs a question would Paul be
considered the chief dumbell ???

Me thinks not

Essential accessory for viewing the PST screen from my listening position.

AGD, The Audion update -

I think I am going to do a separate unboxing and follow up thread.

A necessity to view just about any component display screen,
even the P15’s to view setting’s screens …

Currently have some old opera glasses that do the trick .

Finally completed my last upgrade. Been wanting a decent audiophile grade A/V rack with 36" shelves. Bought a Rigidrack from ButcherBlock acoustics. It’s made of solid maple. Each shelf can handle up to 500 lbs. Was a royal PITA to remove the components shift my Salamander Archetype rack a couple inches to get it in place, then reinstall everything. Much happier now. It replaced a cheap black particle board cabinet that had the right width. The light maple tone gives really good contrast to the black audio / video components that are installed.

Next upgrades will likely be speakers (latest Vandersteen 2 models and update my Transparent Super BiWires) and then DAC. Looking at the Directstream and the Bryston BDA-3.

What is it?

An interesting pair of “Class D” amplifiers:

I started a new thread for these here:

FYI.

Yeah, they say it’s better to listen with ones eyes on the screen :joy:

Just looking at the picture, I would never expect a Class D. Though they are sexy things.
