Best affordable fuses that SOUND better

Funny how different can sound different and almost be misunderstood as better. Until you go back to the reference.

The fuse sacrifice won’t stop lightning from ruining equipment.

Absolutely correct. It has no problem going 40,000 feet so an extra 1/2" certainly wont be noticed. I have had one lightening strike to my house and two to my shop over the years and both were disastrous as far as killing electronic equipment and almost causing fires each time.

I had a friend that lightning followed power line to house ir jumped to and outside light into house wiring over to other wires. Set his house on fire from inside. He got it out but ruined most every electronics and appliance.

Bad grounding.

If I burn in a new fuse for 150 hours in one direction and then decide I prefer the sound in the other direction, will the sound change at all over the next 100 hours or so, as the fuse is used in the new direction?

I think you will notice little or no change.

It may take a couple of hours to settle, then you should be good for another year. After one year put stock fuse back into it to find out if there is an actual improvement.
