I’m getting a pair of REL 31 in two weeks. What’s your experience upgrading the speakon and power cables???
I am REALLY happy with Synergistic Research cables on my three REL Carbon subs. On the two subs positioned on each sidewall, I’m using Foundation SX high current cables for power and Foundation SX REL Spec high level cables. On my “main” Carbon Special in the right front corner, I’m using the Atmosphere SX Reference REL Spec cabling.
For a No. 31, I’d recommend going with at least the Atmosphere SX Reference REL Spec cable.

I agree with @andynotadam have a look at the Syn Sub cables. I have tried Blue cables, Iconoclast and Audience and then went to Synergistic then went up the synergistic line.
these cables are great on the Rels…

I’m using the bassline blue on my subs. @aangen has the top of the line SR cables for his No 31’s.

I should have mentioned that the SR REL Spec cables replaced Kimber REL-Cu. The Kimbers are better than the standard cables, but the SR cables are in another league…

I went with an Analysis Plus REL subwoofer cable and I’ve been very pleased with it for a couple of years.

Good morning. You might consider that we offer a significant upgrade to the REL OEM cables at about half the cost. Our BAV REL compatible sub cables are offered as a “custom” product that can be found here at the bottom of the page. Belden "BAV" Power and Audio Cables from Iconoclast Cable. Heavier gauge conductor, US Belden made cord, Neutrik connectors, cut to exact desired length and to whatever configuration and connectors match your application.
