Guys, You cannot use linhof617s experience as a guide for your setups. He has a preamp in his set a full preamp volume. You guys are not using a preamp.

The absorber and audiophile fuse should still improve, but I am not sure about USB, I2S shorting plugs, and external LPS. I will probably try out the absorbers and M1 fuse when I run it after two weeks.
The new look looks good on you. Before your time I did the cool thing (in the late 70’s) and got a perm, complete with polyester pants. Hated it for months. Proof attached. Chicks did dig the 3 panel Magnaplanar Tympany I D’s, however. They always turned heads in my 1 bedroom apartment.

Yes agree the shorting plugs and exernal LPS is not something for DSII.
No worries all those waiting on MK2 beta units. Was told by PSA today that the remainder will be shipping out over the next couple weeks. I certainly hope no more problems have been found because that timeline isn’t what was previously stated

After burn-in, I plan on going through a speaker set up process using @paul’s new book. I’m curious if the new soundstage will require a placement tweak.
