I actually already have went for it on a more affordable scale. I upgraded my subwoofers. As cool as the B&W Nautilus is I’m very pleased with the Martin Logan CLX Art speakers and with the new subwoofers it’s like brand new speakers and system.

If I am being realistic and following the spirit of living with them, there’s two choices I would gladly hand wring over purchasing. There are other speakers I would consider if we lived in a larger home, but I don’t see that happening for quite some time.

I want to try these in my room. They don’t need subs either.
If I kept them I would remove nearly half of the top cabinet. Maybe a nice curl, like an ice cream cone.

The back of the upper cabinet has a rear firing tweeter and I believe the Crossover and main speaker connections. Otherwise the top box is empty. If we cut a diagonal as I show, the diagonal would have more room for what is now on the back. If the tweeter fires up at 45 degrees what the heck.

The second mod would be to put holes in the side of the top cabinet similar to what Wilson does with the Chronosonic XVX.
