the DMP is still $2500, $1950 is the limit for everything else
Exactly. You have to select the DMP as your trade, and then it will take $2,500 off the price. You can always give us a buzz and we can take care of you too.
Got it. Thanks
Did beta testers put a nice power chord on the PST? Any success stories to share? Maybe it is only a small opportunity.
That is terrible. That machine cost $6000 the minimum should be $3000.
Wow, I could trade in my PWT??!! Kewl.
Price has no relevance if you arenāt going to buy one.
Price is what will keep many from buying one!
You can say that about a lot of things.
Agreed. If you arenāt in the market for a $6k DAC then just look at the $3k ones. Or $300.00 ones.
That is a great deal. It is just hard to give up all the features of the DMP. I would have to think on that one. Thanks for that offer James,
But you will have a much better soundqualityā¦and thatās what counts in my opinion.
Ronald
⦠really much better. Natural.
Andā¦call!
Sound quality rules, but I have surprised myself occasionally with how a non-sound feature can become important.
Some years ago I was given the opportunity to try a prototype preamp for another high-end manufacturer. The sound was delightful, and I loved the interface - quick, responsive, smooth, beautiful switches and dials, with gorgeous styling.
After I returned it I greatly missed it for its non-sound characteristics, annoying myself in the process.
Anyone who has invested the time and effort into the getting the playlist datafilled for all of my disks including the ones I create from my records would feel the way I do.
I probably should not need this, but can you connect the dots for me?
How does this relate to switching from a DMP to a PST? (I do not have either unit).
Deal, I am in Iāll call you the end of next week.
The DMP has full color display which will show track information and album art. It has connectivity to the internet and the server that stores this information. The PST only has a very limited display that only shows track number and time and no connectivity to the server. I have thousands of disks and I scanned cover art and programmed track information for all of them. If I make the move to the PST that work is lost to me. This is why it is so hard for me to give the PST a shot.
What I would lose is the playback of some DVD and Blu-ray Audio discs that have stunning sound quality with the DMP paired with the DSD. Ideally one could have both the DMP and the Perfectwave transport, but that ideal hasnāt reached my finances yetāthe only way I could concievable swing the latter is by trading in the former.
