Forum just went wonky

Here’s a few simple options. The blue is color-matched to the PS audio logo at the top of the page. 100x100 png. Probably not perfect, but hopefully not noticeable when scaled down.

On refreshing the page it jumps onto another page?

Home button has reappeared on Win11 with FireFox. I didn’t log out or anything. Dark mode is good now on my laptop. Will try iPad later tonight.

All good out here now. Thanks @Paul.

I am surprised the that the main menu across the top isn’t respecting the dark mode attribute. It’s a bit much on a tablet. On a 38” monitor it’s not so bad.

Thank-you. You’ve that magic touch!

Looking good on Safari/iMac:

I can live with the Forum home icon, but it does seem to clash with the general aesthetic.

Looking good, @Paul

Guess it’s just a matter of taste but I prefer the main menu in dark mode.

Me too, if we can get back to that. Would be nice but not a “have to!” for me at this point.

I like these ideas. @Paul ?

Understood. There are dark mode web browser extension programs available. Some (maybe all) allow the user to select which window/application is in light or dark mode.

Are you able to tweak the current top banner to look like it did in your post above?

That is the way it looks for me. Besides using the PS Audio dark mode preference the web browser dark mode extension is set to “on” for PS Audio. I’m a member of the Conrad Johnson Owners forum also and I have that one set to light because I prefer that presentation.

Have to see if I can figure that out and switch it…

Thank you.

I have the icon for the Dark Mode extension pinned to my toolbar. If I right mouse click the icon for it the menu you see pops up and you can select actions on a window by window/program by program basis.

Not sure where to obtain the extension for Safari…is this an add on?

Don’t mean to pester you…

You’re not pestering – I bet there are others who want to know also.

You can get the extension from the App Store.

This is the procedure for Safari according to Google AI:

Method 2: Install a dark mode extension

Extensions offer more fine-tuned control, such as automatic activation or site-specific settings.

  1. Find and install an extension: Search the App Store for Safari extensions like “Dark Mode,” “Dark Reader,” “Noir,” or “Darker”.
  2. Enable the extension:
  • Open Safari’s Settings or Preferences and go to the Extensions tab.
  • Check the box next to the extension you installed to turn it on.
  1. Configure the extension:
  • Click the extension’s icon in the Safari toolbar or its settings to adjust its options.
  • You can often set it to apply dark mode automatically when your system is in dark mode, or to a specific schedule.
  • Many extensions also allow you to set dark mode for all websites or disable it for individual sites.

Appreciate it…thank you.

New home logo. See what you think.

Great home logo! Keep that one, it’s on-brand.
