Paul, this is indeed apparently fixed.
Oddly, the fix did not immediately take. Checked today and the “cartoon” is now gone.

Same here. Red house gone. Giant white bar across the top is still there.
Guessing Discord’s AI is a shared resource. Of course that probably means that without expressed limitations, they also have access to all the PSA data to mine and do whatever they want with it.
DCS and Roon uses Discord. I wonder what happens if I ask PSA AI questions about DCS.

Are we talking about the forum software named Discourse, or is there another product Discord? The latter would seem to be a strange name – do they mean to encourage nasty online behavior?
Paul, would you consider making this white bar:
Something other than white? I use dark mode on your fine forum so everything is black except for that bar. I am guessing it matches the rest of you PS Audio Website but it blinds poor old me. Perhaps you could make it gray or a duller shade of white. It would be amazing if you could make a black version that those of us who use dark mode could choose.
One other thing, I actually use an Application I got some time ago from PS Audio on my Android phone to access this forum. It hasn’t been working well with the new design. When I try to click on the number of likes, (under a post) instead of showing me who liked a post it does nothing. And the icon in the lower right of the page
makes it impossible to use the function that lets you jump from post 12 to post 5679 in a thread, which is something I had to do a lot the other day. I don’t know where else you would place that icon, lower left? That could work. Nope, it would interfere with the Save message button. Rats.

I have the same issue when in the forum with my Android phone.
I also have no send button and can not move the keyboard out of the way. (I have a squirrelly method of sending messages which is not worth describing here.)
Even a toned down white, say a whiter shade of pale, would help these aging eyes.
I do believe with time we will get there.
I’ll see what I can do on the keyboard issue and the AI blocking the buttons. I can’t think of how the white header/menu would go away because, yes, it is part of the main website which does not have dark and light modes. So, the problem is when you try and run something custom like the dark mode, I have no way of knowing when someone has activated a dark mode browser and then change just the header colors in response.
I’ll keep thinking about it.
Just today I see “Welcome back. …” in large block letters near the top. It takes up a lot of space and doesn’t seem useful. Could this be dropped? (Win 11/Chrome)

A minor irritant, no real problem. For just a second it seemed like: “Hey old fart your name is …”

I see the same thing as @jerryd6 on my iPad with Safari, and I agree that the big “welcome back“ banner just takes up space unnecessarily.
Perhaps you could relocate the AI icon next to the forum home icon? And I recommend you add a ‘tooltip’ to the icon. (A ‘tooltip’ is a little bubble containing some brief explanatory text that appears when you roll the mouse over the icon.)
Great suggestions, Mike and thank you. The AI icon is not something I have figured out how to control because it is run by the plugin company that we rent it from and they only allow a bit of script in the header that activates it on or off not giving me any say in the matter at all.
Argh.
They make difficult by giving you no placement control.
