I'd like to try an AirLens again, but need advice

I borrowed an AirLens last month and should have asked the question here, but now I’m asking.

I am a Roon user, but my DAC (Lampizator Amber 3) does not have the I2S input, so I had to use the Coax connection. It worked great with standard resolution files and the DAC can handle most any format (PCM 384 kHz, DSD x512, fully balanced from input to output).

If I ran into any DSD/DSF files, it would not play them. I tried to get those files to convert to PCM so I would quit running into silence, but was not successful.

Could someone confirm the DIP switch settings, as well as the ROON settings to make this work?
Thanks

Hi, for me, all switches up and roon defaults let me listen to DSD64. I was unable to get DSD128 via coaxial from the AirLens.

I suggest you contact PSA by telephone and walk through your issues and questions with someone in customer service.

1-800-PSAUDIO.

They should be able to get you comfortable (or not) in a jiffy.

Good luck.

PS

It would be nice if you let us know how it goes.

Hey Scott.
Working weekends huh?
Once I get my hands on another one, I’ll let you know. Just to confirm, what’s the maximum output on Coax?
Todd R

I don’t work for PSA.

Good luck with you inquiries.

Cheers.

DoP up to DSD 128
