Intermittent Connectivity Issues with Network Streamer

Hi everyone,

I am facing some intermittent connectivity issues with my network streamer and was hoping for some advice. :upside_down_face: I am working on -

Streamer Model: PS Audio Direct Stream J r.

NAS Model: Sy nology DS220+

Music Management Software: Ro on

Network Configuration: Router is a Netgear Nighthawk R7000, using a wired connection for the streamer and NAS

I am facing that the streamer frequently drops its connection to the NAS and music management software. It will disconnect and then reconnect after a few minutes. I have restarted both the streamer and NAS. Updated firmware on all devices. Checked and secured all network cables. Verified the stability of my internet connection. I have checked Problem streaming from Tidal to DS DAC splunk documentation guide but still need help .

Even after these steps ; the problem continues. Has anyone experienced similar issues ?

It seems like the DSJ reconnects to your network on its own? Does it require a reboot of the DSJ? I wonder if it could possibly be a heat related issue if it’s dropping out randomly. It sounds like your network is robust so it shouldn’t be having these drop outs.
