Good thing I’m not in the Market for a USB cable also. I’m still having a love affair with my Audience FrontRow USB cable and it will really break my heart to part with it. I think even the Revelation will have a hard time beating that one. Is there someway you can bypass Brad to get this cable beside buying it use?

AFAIK, used is the only way to go at this point. (I bought my RAL USB new from a dealer, but I just checked that dealer’s website and he no longer lists RAL as one of his brands.)

Fun, I order three Wireworld cables on a Saturday night and I have them by Wednesday. Now you are saying that they are bettered by a cable that drives everyone crazy just trying to obtain.
I guess I am happy for you and will never know myself.

If you already have the WW PS7’s, don’t worry about it, it’s a fantastic cable better than everything else out there. I just have to tell it like it is in my situation. If the Revelation came earlier, I would have save a lot of people some grief. This guy delivers the cable, but just takes a long time. I would not have waited if I knew ahead of time and just be contended with the WW. I could sell the WW, but I do need a better cable for my video. I’m using a Kimber HD29 right now, but I believe the WW will be much better. And I am using A WWPS7 for my DMP right now. I did try the Revelation there also with the same result. The Revelation is just a more engaging sounding cable. But I’m not going down that road again with the waiting and not knowing to get another Revelation. The WWPS7 is fine.

How many hours you have on your WWPS7s? They tend to change over a couple of hundred hours. The dielectric in insulation on WWPS7 will change some. The Air Tube of rRvelation should stay stable.
The WWPS7 I have with the DMP is as old as when I was beta testing the DMP. Cables don’t really need a long time to stabilize in my system. After a few days of beating, they pretty much stay the same and don’t change anymore. The Revelation sounded great out of the box, and I think it sounds even better now after a couple of day with loud music on it. It could turn around and sound worst with more break in. That I don’t know, I hope not.

I did some more shootout with the 3 cables today. The 2 WW PS7’s, one a few years old, the other couple of weeks old and the 2 days old Revelation and it confirms my original findings. The Revelation is more present and richer sounding. You seem to hear more of everything more distinctly. In my system it is not that subtle. I really wanted the WW to blow away the Revelation for all the trouble it cause me, but I can’t deny what I’m hearing. I tried both WW PS7’s and both sounds about the same, I can’t really tell them apart. I’m wondering if there are others in the community that has the Revelation HDMI and could put some input on this cable that I am not the only one with this reaction to this cable.

This is regardless if the HDMI is coming off the Matrix to DSD or other source? I have noticed the extreme detail and Air space on WWPS7 I got after adjusting the LPS matrix voltage to 9 Volt has be considering dialing back matrix supply voltage in quarter volt increments. The music lost some richness. Perhaps. some aspects Seem a touch more hifi than natural
Wondering what LPS voltage you are running on the Matrix with your HDMI shootout?
I am using the Matrix with the 6v Sbooster. I am also using it with the add on Ultra MKII which reduce the voltage to 5.5v. I also have the SR Orange fuse installed in this Sbooster. The Sbooster comes 9v-10v also, but i did not get that one.This Sbooster sounds incredible with the Matrix and this Revelation just enhanced it. Not HiFi sounding whatsoever. Just very high resolution natural rich organic spacious sound.
Thanks. Are you feeding a 5V signal over USB too? How do you keep it from switching to USB power? What is your USB cable?
I’m using the Audience FrontRow USB from the Aurender N10 to the Matrix. I think when I plug in the external power supply, to the Matrix, the Matrix automatically switches to that external power supply and disconnects the one from the USB. That’s how the Matrix operates.
Well specs for external act like it needs 6 V. Maybe 5.5 V works if greater than 800 mv. I would test it by pulling external power. Should be readily heard as difference.
Power Supply Specs:
USB bus power supply: 5V/500mA
External power supply: DC 6~9V，≥800mA
Power supply port: outer diameter 5.5mm;
Are you kidding me? Maybe these different voltages do sound a little different from each other, but even adding an Ifi 5v external power supply to the Matrix improves the sound. That is what I started with. That is why I looked for a better LPS. The better the LPS the more you will hear from this Matrix. I even heard the SR Orange fuse I put in the Sbooster. Not really big but noticeable.
Brad got dinged by my credit card company so now he sent me a new invoice since I received the cable and apologized for the delay in sending the cable. He said he was inundated with work on too many orders since he put together each cable all by himself. He IS an one man operation. I probably would not have forgive him except his cables are really very good, probably the best I heard. At least his HDMI is. Oh well.
It seems his communication improves when he doesn’t have your money…

There appears to be other posts on other forums going back 7 to 8 years all showing same pay and wait. At least he is consistent.
