No prob, you have to click on the recording you are shopping (I prefer to open link in new tab instead of pop up), then click on the Technical notes link. Usually they have different captures for DSD and PCM. Here’s a screen shot to help illustrate:
Yes, I saw this. But it only rarely states how the original digital capture was done. I’m a believer in (at least for high res music) getting the digital version that represents the original ADC. For example if the Chet Baker in this was originally converted as high bit PCM I’d get that over the DSD.
I prefer the 4xDSD capture over the the PCM capture from the ADCs. I read the info available and there were DSD and PCM versions from different ADCs. One DSD and the other PCM. They used the analogue tape for the original analogue source.
If you want to clarify, then you have to call the studio. The studio responsible for the ADC transfers is identified in the information.
