I’ve read a few comments throughout the forum about BHK 600’s but nothing “specific”.
A few questions:
- Are they real? Are they on the near horizon?
- Are they BHK designed?
- Tube Input?
- Is there new tech in them? GaN perhaps?
- Will they be in the same form factor as the 300’s?
- Ballpark price?
@BHK - Is there any info you can share?

Well from what I’ve seen and what Paul has discussed:
BHK600 is Bascom Designed.
A picture of the back with the access plate removed showed 3 Tubes.
One large and 2 Small. Could be 2 input and one power or one rectifier?
The form factor uses the P20 Chassis as a base. Very large.

I had asked that question earlier about any new tech and one of the insiders clarified that basically just upsized 300’s, same topology for all intents (this was probably 4 months ago so …)
I had framed the question using m1200 as examples of completely different tech vs m700 yet still in stellar series and same naming convention.
But they said no, this will basically be a bigger 300

I believe the last two posts from @watchdog507 and @kzk are spot on I totally agree. I’m going to have some fun and guess $21,998 a pair on price. The public debut was scheduled a little more than a month away so we should have more info soon!
I would guess that in todays parts environment trying to source supplies for four new projects at one time is going to cause them to miss their announced window on several if not all of the them. Then it will become a matter of which project they deem needs to go first or can based on parts availability.
Last I heard, we are nearing the final design stages. Don’t quote me, but I have a feeling they will be the next product release. Expected by the end of the year

Way more than I’ll need. I’m just keeping an eye out for a pair of 300 monoblocks to replace my stereo 250 once all the upgrading begins.

But, as of three weeks ago, Paul said the DSD MkII is still on target for the end off the year “if not sooner”. Will there be a photo finish?
