I am going to do frequency sweep between M-1 Fuse and the master with no bacch4mac head tracking and compare if it responds differently. I am curious if fuse changes like cables do at listening distance.
But I will listen too! It would be good if they correlated graphs to sound. Probably not.
Mine was just a iphone 12 only two lenses for depth perception.

I assume that there will be an immediate improvement.The SR Master sounds good right from the start and increases quite evenly without ups and downs like the Purple.

Didn’t we agree on Luca’s orientation of the SR to the R in the holder and the S to the device? Or now gives the impetus to hear the right direction again…
Looking forward to the first judgment of Vmax and the chosen direction of the SR.
Vnnax is too busy taking BACH measurements with the different fuses.
Too busy to listen to music… 
He has to find the right angle of fitment first

My curiosity as well. Seems the fuse direction varies from user to user. If this device is a consistent, symmetrical build, this should not matter…unless how it some how seasons over time…but, power flow both ways…but, I hated this with the Purples…I hate a moving target…and I’m lazy.

So far the Master is a big yawner. The Frequency response sweeps. Total volume of Master it shaves around 2,5 to 3dB off the energy in the room. Lost all the toe tapping lively goodness of every thing. I placed fuse as Luca did. Totally not my taste. Cup of Tea or even reasonable. Going to flip it. Hopefully it has some saving grace.

What do the black and red measurement curves say? I don’t know her measurements. What are they for? Don’t forget that your AM M1 is branded and the SR SR Master is fresh out of the box. Let it burn in first so you can make realistic comparisons. Due to the increased dynamics and silence of the master, most people here felt the music they were listening to be louder. I see an increase in the bass and from the upper mids on the chart. A loudness.

Have you changed the direction? I remember the first week I was not as enthusiastic as others about Master. The direction seemed to make quite a change in my system. Still there was an up and down period, but not as bad as Purple. The grey background was my big issue.
But after one week it sounded better than any other fuse I had in the system.
This frequency response at listening positionwithh binaural michrophone so Red is Right. black is left. All volume levels were matched. The Master increases nothing so far except bank account debit . I just flipped it so S is in the fuse cap. I will run new SR Sweeps.
I feel like ai am doing a myth-buster episode so far.

Red right, black is left? Red is the signal that goes into the DAC and black is what is measured at the listening position?
To me the black curve looks the same and the red curves are different.
maybe it should be tried once without adjustments as most people hear without artificially helping or making things worse.
I guess I have to ask the usual questions, partly as I don’t know just how measurements are done with the BACCH. Mic in same position for each measurement? (I assume yes.) How much do the measurements vary if you take many of them one after the other without changing anything?

now it gets confusing with the two ears. The scalers have different gradations. With the Master, red and black are closer together in the measurement in the important listening area than with the AM. 2000 to 5000 Hz
Only this measurement allows little conclusions about the real frequency response and the change in the sound. Or ?
I think something changes in the output signal with the fuses. And it has a lot to do with the character of the speakers’ radiation and the influence of your room, which is regulated differently for left and right.
Okay another set of measurements with S in Cap. It lowered overall level even more. I will have to let the Quantum Menace err Master burn in more.
Everything is even more recessed and dll with master this way. I hoe time helps this thing
First night quite a let down. I will let this burn in in silence revisiting and listening. Out of the box better than a Purple but no match for a AM M-1 powering my system.
