What Donald said, and a loss of bass body.
Yes, one can replace the silicone insert. Josh sent me a set of replacement without charge which was incredibly nice on his part. So, I have backup weight inserts for potential use in future.
Hans was using 4 CSA footers for his MU1 during his review. I assume 4 CSA would work for the MU2 also.
Buy all three, compare them, keep the set that works the best in your system and return the other two sets. Stack offers a 30 day trial period.
When I do my next upgrade, I may try that.
I recently received my Stack AUVA 100’s for the FR30’s. They are not optimally set up as they do not have the spikes inserted yet so I can move the speakers around until I find the best spot. But, they are nice.
Biggest improvement I’ve heard (when I have heard it) from an isolation device. The usual trajectory with these puck jobs is everything just gets a little calmer. The 100’s do that but things also get a bit tighter, more revealing, more open.
Component-like qualities. Expensive, yes. Happy, yes.
Very happy to see you’re happy with them! Before you set them up permanently, have a Stack Manhattan on me; shake but not stirred
Calmer, yes a good description as their AUVA footers tend to provide a similar result. A certain sense of calm.
My experience so far has been dynamically disappointing. Ordered on Nov. 12. After waiting, asking, waiting, and asking, a shipping label was created on Dec. 2. FedEx shows they haven’t even picked it up yet.
Sorry to hear that, Josh said they had trouble filling up orders now that the words got out.
Like I said, I’m blaming nameless members here.
We all blame you Donald! Thanks
I had them same type of experience with them months back when I ordered the SmoothLan.
Your patience will be rewarded. Trust me on this.
GUILTY HERE.
They’re very nice guys doing their best after being outed by our golf-nut buddy here.
Have patience.
Following enthusiasm from Hans B I bought them for under my MU2. I am not sure I remember whatever change they make. Putting them under a PowerZone? Na.
I was one of the early adopters and reporters here, yes guilty. I have them under seven components in my main system, and just one under a Wyred4Sound upscaler in my audio video system. Great stuff.
Happy cake day!
