The unit was made by a designer who does lots of audio stuff.
He used to own a business called Blok, made very nice stands, I had one, that he recently sold to Monitor Audio. He prefers to do bespoke.
My unit is on his front page only because the bespoke side was fairly new when he made my unit.
The stands are from HiFi Racks, far and away the most popular brand in the UK, and they sell all over the world. After I got mine they did a special range just for Harbeth.
The thing about these, they come flat-pack and screw together in minutes, very solid. You can get the legs exactly the height required and if for some reason you need a different height you just order new legs. This is perhaps more useful for equipment racks, you can add layers or change heights as you go along.
Simon Gavin, who runs Audinni, is the nicest guy. I’ve just looked at his Facebook page and think I’m going to get him to quote for some bedroom cupboards. He looks very busy.
Hifi Racks do bespoke at no extra cost. It’s a family business, great to deal with and super efficient. Not even expensive. Hence incredibly popular.
Hi Soundlogic, I was referring to your speakers… but I saw the pictures on my iphone 5… My eyes must have played tricks on me - as the speakers looks perfect on a bigger screen!! ;-).
And they are no Quads (the brand).
Regarding the Hallographs: I have seen them at my local dealer; he was indeed very positive about their performance. Did not dare to go that far with tweaks, I opted though for a Stein System which was enough VoodooWitchDoctorShit my wallet/wife allowed…
What is it about those high end chairs? We have 2 of them, favorite chairs in the family.
Globally available good value for the money.
Nice set up, VPI turntable is beautiful. Too expensive over here where we have Project, Thorens, EAT, Rega and other alternatives, but if I’d still live in the US, it would be on top of my list.
Replaced my Klipsch Cornwall III with Cube Audio Nenuphar.
Was going to wait for AN-3/FR-30 but price crept out of my price range and the latest design wasn’t to my liking either, so voted with my wallet… sorry… I’m still very much in the PSA family though with all my electronics
So far I can tell the AV Showroom review is spot on… enjoy these very much.
beautiful…maybe consider an area rug to enhance the room acoustics…
{ WAF might also be enhanced (and less listening fatigue on your end), as she chooses/decorates for her tastes…win - win? }
