Lava bong lamp.
I’d love to get a lava lamp but I don’t have any open sockets on the power regenerator so it’s a no go.
That rounds out and increases the black space between the blobs. The older 40W version is preferred.
I have two lava lamps and two plasma globes. +4
One of the plasma globes is the original “Eye of the storm” globe. +1
Total: +5
I wonder if plugging it into the regenerator would produce better-quality lava patterns, and which version of multi-wave would be the best?
I just occurred to me that the P12 is on sale. I only have the SP3. Two more sockets means 2 lava lamps! Might have to upgrade!
Long live lava
I’m really fe at king the peer pressure to buy a lava lamp.
Mike you need the lava and the lava needs you
have had a few over the years (in the 80s we could only get them if they showed up in the local charity shops, i think they became “cool” again in the 90s).
largest one i ever saw atood at five feet tall (half was stand though) and about a foot diameter - but it was one of the ones with strings of bits of foil, rather than blobby wax, so more of a sparkle heat lamp. still cool though at that size
just got this one in the corner frozen in a crazy pattern for now
Love the rack and the apparent “near-field” listening position…
Is that a HoloAudio Red DDC/streamer I spy?
If yes, what are your thoughts on its comparative performance, if any? (I have one on order.)
TIA.
Enjoy your system?
I was shocked by just how good it is, massive sq improvement
Dang It! Now y’all got me perusing lava lamps on Amazon.
Thanks.
What was your streaming solution prior to buying the Red?

“Music to my ears”, as I am looking to upgrade from the Bridge II Ethernet card and plan to add the JK Richards power supply to the DS DAC MK I in the slot now occupied by the Bridge II.
Thanks.
Can you give me a link to the power supply you are talking about.
