Hi Brian, can you tell me a little more about it and what it did for your dac

Like most applications of LPS it lowered the noise floor for the MK1. Keeps noise away from the digital side. Definitely worth the few hundred it cost for the upgrade. Some spent more on better LPS and DC cable. But I had good results with Mid grade LPS and regular cable.

Lava lamps. Wow does that bring back memories. Back in the day while supporting 24/7 TVAC testing of the Hubble Space Telescope ACS instrument at GSFC the team had the biggest one I’ve ever seen running in the middle of the cubicle farm. I remember my mind drifting off at 2AM in the morning staring at it. It was mesmerizing, almost a distraction from monitoring what was going on at my console. :slight_smile:
