It looks like the sound from the right channel might be a little off. The speaker cable seems to have fallen off of it’s stand.
Beautiful setup!

The system as it stands currently… I’m in the process of building some Oris horns.

Hi donkt150, thx for sharing your system! What kind of tube amps are those? They look awesome! T
The R 2000 if I would stretch it very much R 2500 series, probably with their Criterion Transmission Line speaker, the largest in budget color come for EUR 7500 a pair. But those would be a compromise in my mind.
Some claim transmission line speakers are less sensitive for positioning close to the wall, we learned differently, when listening to them. I prefer to put my eggs in the closed cabinet speaker basket.
Closed cabinet speakers don’t come for cheap. So by the time my kids are hopefully fully able to support them selfs, and I am capable of forking out the budget.
Few speaker companies are in the closed cabinet camp.
I know, Magico, off course, don’t recall who made me aware … . But also Rowen in Switzerland, very nice and more options in the friendly budget region. Wilson, I think, but not my visual taste. Then PS Audio of which I like the active bass part and concept the team is working on.
Till then, I’ll very much enjoy my current systems and kids. My daughter and I were on a mountain bike trail close by. Don’t laugh, hardly any mountains in The Netherlands, I know. So let’s call it “In the Dutch Mountains”. We have the best trails and long routes that allow a lot of fun.
You might want to google up “The NITS”, “In the Dutch Mountains” and give it a listen on You Tube. Take the lyrics video. I like the song and the lyrics are a funny description of our Dutch society.
Hi, the amps are Primaluna dialogue premium HP
Their alternative to the Stellar is their 8 series DAC, that has the mentioned double dedicated DAC concept. But the Stellar offers the balanced analog input. Choices, choices, still do not regret mine.
Beautiful system. What’s in those little doors behind both speakers?
You might point out to Bryan, that if he paints his toenails different colors, he can hide in the jellybeans!
You crawl through those hatches to get out of that gorgeous dream ;-).
I mean, I am looking at the picture wondering what I like more. The scene before the window or behind. It must be a dream to sit there watch outside and listen to music wonderful music. Smetana Moldau comes to my mind looking at the picture.
Until bush fire season comes along…then it becomes a bad dream.
The problem with that theory is, if Bryan eats all the jelly beans he won’t be able to get out of the jelly bean jar.
Maybe. We here a lot about devastating fires from down under and California, occasionally Texas. But I grew up close to the forests and actually live close by now and would sign for such a view any time.
Chapel Hill, NC. And yes…the most relaxing experience imaginable listening to your favorite music, on this caliber of system…and such a tranquil landscape to gaze out on to. Truly blessed here.
Nice set up
Nice view too
Enjoy and count your blessings. The way the system looks, great taste, the PS Audio looks so good in black in that room, with the Focals. Never had a chance to listen to Focals.
The trees in NC, your picture, look much similar to the high beech trees here in The Veluwe, in The Netherlands.
We had a similar view in our home in Texas where we looked outside, through similar sized windows at Cedar and Oak trees and all the animals that habitat the yard. My Yamaha set and Canton Vento decorated the interior there, certainly not as high end, but the real estate available with the similar view, hm, your picture brought a lot of that up again. Hence my comment about that dream.
Spectacular system Scott! Enjoy!
I think you are safe; fires are exceedingly rare in Chapel Hill.
