This recording as a DSD64 sounds better than the origin vinyl to me.

It still kind of freaks me out that I met her Dad when I was sixteen when he came to visit his cousin my roommate at Waterford Kamhlaba boarding school in M’Babane, then Swaziland. Ravi Shankar standing in your barracks room. Awesome.

I like her early stuff but haven’t been too intrigued with stuff since. She’s a beautiful woman though.

CD Case from 1992 original release but inside are two 5.1/2.0 SACD’s. Clapton’s Band did an excellent job. Too bad they never came to Canada or the U.S. I’ve never seen an official DVD or BluRay release. Just some low res video’s on YouTube

Bruce Hornsby’s new one. Pretty terrific to my ears. Lots of guest appearances including Jack DeJohnette, Justin Vernon, and yMusic.

As I am just getting caught up on my reading of the forum I’m a little behind on my responding (there were over 1600 posts in this thread alone!). My favorite RT album is “Rumor and Sigh” which is very well recorded and contains two of my favorite RT songs. “1952 Vincent Black Lightning” and “God Loves a Drunk”. The first is well loved by many, the second, well, I had a grade school friend for which this song was pretty apropos. Sadly, he passed away about three years ago.

With respect to your little stash, you have a few … I just did a count in my database and I have 34 CD’s of Richard and his band, plus about 10 more of Linda and him, Linda alone, and the Thompson Family. I also have a several LPs, though I’m not at home to count them (I’m such a bore!). Richard is just an amazing song writer and has put out very consistent output since he left Fairport Convention oh so long ago. There aren’t too many performers you can say that about. I’ve seen him live numerous times, his solo acoustic performances are my preference, the electric performances are just too loud for me.

Yes I als wondered how interesting and good it is and it also has really good sound quality.

He also hums from time to time during the play, more like a live recording in concert;
