I am thinking you are exactly the kind of tour guide for this city which I would enjoy.

I think The Imperial Palace is gone now, but they had an interesting, sometimes hilarious car collection.
This is an Everyting Else chat thread. They typically go wherever the participants take them.
I learned long ago not to fight the wandering topic(s) as it frustrates forum members; they want to have fun and to enjoy each other’s company on whatever topic interests them. Just like a dinner party, conversations wander.
Purposeful threads, such as the phono preamp beta thread, are allowed to wander a bit - but when they get stuck veering off topic I split off the new topic. I should probably be stricter as threads such as the preamp thread have a clear, singular purpose, but to do so would suck the life out of the forum.
It is always a balancing act.
if your phono gets stuck or veers off, you can try a quarter on the tone arm.
Brilliant, Bootzilla!
Is Brodric wearing a red-and-white-striped shirt, bobble hat, and glasses?
He pawned his Smith Corona…
I’m sure he is trying to get his order. Lol
I’ve been to Vegas twice, once late in the last century, once early this century. I went because someone else wanted to go.
I confess I like the sort of dinge and seediness of the “old Vegas.” A “flavor” and “feeling” unlike any other place I’ve been to. And it’s the most amazing place to people watch I’ve ever been to.
Warren Zevon recommends the machaca burrito . . .
Gawd, I miss him.
Unsure how accurate these lyrics are:
" I went home with a waitress
the way I always do
How was I to know
she was with the russians, too?
I was gambling in havana, I took a little risk
Send lawyers, guns, and money
Dad, get me out of this…"
Between lines, be sure to go,
“Blang-a-dang, chung changa-danga, Blang-a-dang Chang-Chong” in your head.
Assuming you ain’t dead.

I was unaware Steely Dan did a cover of Relaxini at Camarillo. Fun.
I need to check out what they did with Charlie Parker’s classic.
Cryin’…

"She had a snake for a pet
And an amulet
And she was Breeding a Dwarf
But she wasn’t done yet
She had gray-green skin
A doll with a pin
I told her she was allright
But I couldn’t come in
(I couldn’t come in right then…)"
I was really very busy at the time…
But… Is that a real poncho? I mean, is it a Mexican poncho, or is it a real poncho?
Dude - its a Sears Poncho
Man, now I gotta cue up and spin some Frank, some Dan and some Warren. Thanks all.

Incredibly difficult job
So, I guess, getting rid of @Dephonator makes sense too. Famous last posts: ich bin dann mal weg… ![]()
It can be.
Thanks.
