Nice. I have one last bottle of '83 in the cellar.

My daughter is working at Crushed By Giants on Michigan Ave. in Chicago. Their sister brewery sponsored this Blue Man thing.
I have no drawers to put it in🤷🏻♂️
Realizing there is little difference between this post and that of the Lord Mayor of London Town.
So - apologies🙏🏻
My “go to” winter staple since “pre-legal” days.
I save the Lagavulin 12yr old for very special occasions.
Apparently I got a deal on this bottle at $60. Outstanding rye. No wonder they had a one per customer limit. Will buy again for that price.
Just enjoyed that Talisker 10 year Wednesday eve.
A nice collection. Hard to choose, but I like the three in the middle, myself.
Hadn’t had their output in many moons, as my taste has veered away from the Big CA stuff over the years, but as Fruit Bombs go, they’re good, if pricey. My tongue is fully purple. But more proper inherent acidity than the fruit bomb du jour. Especially if aired out really well (like, for days). Still have a fondness for Sonoma.
My drink of choice depends on the time of day and where I am I guess. . . but if I’m at home, where I usually am, it’s generally either organic whole milk, sparkling mineral water, or organic Mexican coffee. No alcohol here. When I did drink I saw so many who were ruining or had ruined their lives one way or another with drink, and I pretty much ceased and desisted.
That Petite Sirah will leave your tongue purple permanently!
I agree, I try others but Ardbeg (especially 10) always remains my fav. Haven’t tried the Corryvreckan or an Oa yet. Neither available in my area so far. The smokier the better…
