Ryes can be wonderful!
Outstanding! Love it.
Haven’t had a drink in at least 10 years because of diabetes, but it was 7&7 back then.
Blast from past! I grew up in Aberdeen, SD and Seagrams & SevenUp was like Coke & Rum in Cuba.
Not sure if this is my drink or not, never had the pleasure but one of the people on my team just walked in and set this on my desk. So some experimentation is in order…
Best,

It is light, easy to drink.
It’s gotten a thumbs up from just about everyone that has walked into my office this morning and it getting some “hungry” looks. It may not make it past lunch
Gift from the tiny sweetheart. She knows me. A very fine bourbon at a mid level price. They make outstanding ryes too. Perfect in a Manhattan.
Having a dram of this while I wait for the grill to heat up.
Then it’s a bottle of this with the lamb chops.
wish me luck
Yeah, and you know shelf that goes on? None! It’s too bloody tall.
While I prefer Tasmanian Ginger Beer, Cascade or Bundaberg, Jamaican reminds me of home and when I am going no alcohol Reeds is quite nice
“Though the virus outside is frightful
the wine is so delightful
and since we’ve got no place to go,
let it flow, let it flow, let it flow.”
My youngest daughter bought this for me at Christmas…really nice booze…must have a high rye content.
A gift from a generous but “careful” friend. Roughly 9 bucks at Total Wine and quite surprisingly good every day wine.
A Christmas gift from a close business and personal friend. I just got it because him and his family was sick with the vid like nearly everyone else I know.
Outstanding booze. I learned how good Wild Turkey can be at a BBQ fest in Memphis 7-8 years ago. Great event if anyone has an opportunity to attend.
Oh ya, better add water, it’s hot!
I brew beer as a hobby. I tend to brew big imperial stouts and other dark beers. I also like to infuse with different alcohols. One of my favorite flavor mixes lately is Porter with Anejo Tequila. Sounds weird, but try a Porter and chase with the tequila, amazing! Here are my 2 favorite…
Local small batch made in VA. Very tasty but somewhat “dear” at $42 /375ml.
And my favorite Irish Whiskey
Seems to be very little mention of tea in this thread (I did do a search and a scan).
Currently enjoying some Rooibos (as was Redbush) and very nice it is too!
I’ve no doubt others on here know far more than I about tea (after all, my usual “tipple” is PG Tips (decaf, for medical reasons)).
Just thought I’d mention it
